Packing your own shipment can be a cost-efficient solution to getting ready for relocating. Materials can be delivered for packing at your convenience and placed in your garage for ready access.
Staging the shipment
Budget friendly tips and reminders:
- Stage your shipment in an easy to access location.
- Clearly label boxes (contents /desired placement @ destination)
- Fragile content boxes should be labeled as TLO (Top Load Only)
- Dishware goes on its side, in a dish pack (not flat in a medium box)
- Stemware gets squish at bottom of box, as well as top before closing

Allocating space for delivery
Make sure the area is cleared and ready for delivery. If you are having remodeling done and your shipment has been stored awaiting a finished home, often times the garage is a great place to receive your shipment. Identify how much room is needed for your vehicle and we will take care of the rest. If you are receiving new appliances, make sure the old appliance is disconnected and drained, also having the room cleared where installation will take place is crucial.
